The Sea, The Sea

The other book I'm reading now is The Sea, The Sea (1978) by Iris Murdoch. (If you are a member of my book group, please skip the rest of this post since we are not allowed to discuss the book before the meeting). I really like it.

The Secret Life of the Seine

Lately I have been reading The Secret Life of the Seine (Perseus Books, 1994) by Mort Rosenblum. The book follows the river from its source near Dijon, through Paris to its mouth at Le Havre. I love that kind of stuff.
